23-year-old Sodiq Ojomo lost his life on Christmas day when he drowned in a swimming pool at an event centre at 3/5, Durosinmi Etti Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. Sodiq who worked with a catering service at the centre with his colleagues to entertain some guests with food. According to eye witnesses, he jumped into the swimming pool against the advice of his supervisor. His corpse has since been picked up by policemen from Maroko division and deposited at a public mortuary.
